Although this was taken with an iPhone, I am pleased with the result, which is based on using what I have learnt at College regarding lighting tricks.

The subject was blinking whenever the flash went off and I was getting a lot of glare from the flash, on the glass behind her.As a result I got my dad to use a torch to provide a softer lighting effect.

I then turned the brightness and contrast up, to make her face brighter, and then adjusted the colour curves to finish it off.
